Job Description:

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of our IoT systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational knowledge in systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity principles. Hands-on experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP), wireless technologies (Wi-Fi 6/6E, LoRaWAN, cellular IoT), and IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deploy IoT infrastructure solutions that meet business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with software teams to integrate IoT systems with existing IT infrastructure.
  3. Implement robust security measures to prevent vulnerabilities in IoT devices and networks.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot IoT system performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IoT system deployment or 3+ years in IT/networking roles with IoT exposure.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with IoT dashboard tools (e.g., Grafana, Node-RED).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in configuring IoT hardware and network devices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for IoT/OT environments.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure IoT Specialty) or Linux/Windows fundamentals.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • CCNA/CompTIA Network+, CWNP (Wireless), or vendor certifications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to translate business needs into technical IoT solutions.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, network, and software layers.
    • Willingness for on-call support and off-hours maintenance.
