Impact Evaluation Professional
The role of an Impact Evaluation Specialist plays a pivotal part in assessing, enhancing and communicating the effectiveness of developmental programmes.
- Develop and implement robust frameworks, tools and indicators to measure developmental outcomes across programmes using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Analyse and interpret impact data to guide programme improvement, strengthen strategic alignment and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards maintaining secure systems, informed consent and participant confidentiality.
- Work with teams to develop and refine Theory of Change and logic models as the foundation for measurement and reporting.
- Produce clear, actionable reports for internal learning and external audiences.
- Facilitate learning sessions to build staff capacity in evaluation, reflective practice and data-driven decision-making.
Core Competencies:
- Data analysis - Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SPSS, R or NVivo.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate complex findings into accessible formats.
- Able to manage multiple projects within timelines with different programme teams.
- Data visualisation and storytelling for impact.
