Learning Support Specialist Job Description

The Learning Support Specialist is a vital member of our educational team, responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for students.

  • They will implement educational programs in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and frameworks.
  • Assist students with their homework (primary 1 to 6) and facilitate their learning journey.
  • Conduct unique enrichment programs focusing on English, Maths, and Chinese subjects.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and address individual educational and developmental needs.
  • Prepare and maintain teaching resources, classroom arrangements, and learning environments.
  • Foster strong relationships with students and parents, promoting open communication and trust.
  • Exemplify an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a positive mindset.
  • Ensure student safety during transfers from school to the student centre and within the premises.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A diploma or higher in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students.
  • Ability to teach primary school subjects and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Creative energy, enthusiasm, and a positive disposition to learn and grow with our organization.
