About the Role

This role is ideal for an individual with excellent organizational and time management skills, who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook with meal preparation tasks, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry and meat.
  • Stir and heat soups and sauces as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
  • Ensure food supplies are properly stored in the kitchen, cold room and storeroom.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
  • Able to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously, including multitasking and prioritizing workload.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.
