Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to residents, ensuring their overall safety and well-being.

  • The Care Officer will ensure daily needs of residents are met, including providing meals, cleaning living areas, and assisting with personal hygiene.
  • Motivate residents through day-to-day interaction, encouraging them to participate in activities and engage with others.
  • Oversee security screening to prevent contrabands from entering the house.
  • Facilitate the process of residents checking in and out, maintaining accurate records and providing updates on resident activity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless transition during shift duties, communicating outstanding matters to next duty personnel.
  • Work closely with Programme/Social Work team to manage resident cases, monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in handling grievances and investigating incidents/ disciplinary issues as assigned.
  • Identify defects or works requiring attention, feeding back to Facility Department for follow-up.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • N Level, O Level, Nitec/Higher Nitec & Diploma qualifications.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Past experience in Military, Police, and Prison backgrounds.
