The Cyber Underwriter will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial and financial cyber businesses and technology professional indemnity accounts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in underwriting cyber products and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial and financial cyber businesses and technology professional indemnity accounts.
  • Support growth and profitability objectives as outlined by the Profit Centre through effective planning and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement business plans with appropriate guidance from Head of Financial Lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and strategies in support of growth in CAP and MAP segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns to promote CyberEdge capability and maintain strong brand recognition on AIG.
  • Utilize eStart, eScreen and other supporting strategic systems to support management reports and ensure high-quality underwriting files.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, brokers, reinsurers and other key partners.
  • Supervise, train and mentor staff assigned under him/her (if any).

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in underwriting Cyber products.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing business plans.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
