Job Overview

The Resident Site Officer is responsible for supervising civil, structural, and specialist engineering works to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor works associated with civil and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare daily reports and submit them as required.
  • Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and checklists.
  • Reject poor quality work and notify the relevant authority for issuance of a non-conformance notice.
  • Maintain records and documentation for field/site changes and monitor adherence.
  • Conduct standing supervision for critical site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and risk assessment policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree or diploma in a relevant discipline such as Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Be willing to do shift work including weekend duties, and be stationed full-time on-site.
  • Familiarity with drawings, safety requirements, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of site safety procedures and quality control.
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
