Job Title: Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician

Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical process and utility equipment, ensuring continuous utilities supply available for production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, transformers, switchboards, HVAC, refrigeration, and air compressors.
  • Operate utilities equipment efficiently with minimal downtime, keeping all equipment in optimal condition and minimizing equipment breakdowns and costs.
  • Lead and support implementation of plant modifications and improvement projects.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Coordinate and implement maintenance activities, including multi-disciplinary work with other maintenance teams and external vendors.
  • Issue and receive Work Permits for maintenance and project activities in Utility areas, including creating and reviewing Risk Assessments.
  • Provide engineering solutions for problems related to equipment reliability.
  • Maintain inspection readiness of systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and engineering standards.
  • Utilize SAP PM module for maintenance records and information search.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical, or relevant process industry, with ITC/ITE/NTC 2 or 3 certification in electrical.
  • Tech diploma from Polytechnic or City and Guild certificate is an advantage.
  • EMA Electrician Grade 7 license (min) will be an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and utility operations, including knowledge of local codes of practice.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team player, customer focus, self-driven, and ability to create business solutions.
