We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Biosensors Interventional Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to drive process improvements, optimize manufacturing operations, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in product improvement projects and lead engineering activities to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Take charge of problem-solving and action planning in project management to ensure successful project implementation.
- Perform risk analysis (FMEA) to define process flow and control plans, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Lead equipment qualification and process validation for product improvement projects, guaranteeing smooth production implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other departments, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Ensure projects are implemented within schedule and budget constraints, maintaining high productivity levels.
- Analyze and optimize new/improved process parameters to enhance product quality and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Explore innovative processes to improve product quality or productivity, driving continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the successful transfer of new/improved processes/methodologies into production, maintaining good process margins and inline controls.
- Involved in hands-on execution of manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless integration of new processes.
- Provide operational training for operators or related personnel, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven mechanical or material aptitude and knowledge, with experience in manufacturing process and cGMP manufacturing.
- Experience in operational management and lean manufacturing, with a strong understanding of clean room/environment control principles.
- At least 2 years of working experience in a related field, with excellent English-speaking and writing skills.
- Multilingual: Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write professional reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
