Job Title: Data Center Strategy and Negotiation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Center Strategy and Negotiation Specialist, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the growth and development of our data center portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and acquire new sites for our data centers, while also managing existing sites to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend potential sites for data center development, taking into account factors such as location, infrastructure, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for site acquisition, including negotiations with landowners, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Manage the design and construction of new data centers, ensuring that they meet our technical and operational requirements.
  • Optimize existing data center operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business cases for new data center projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Public Policy, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in negotiating real estate and infrastructure agreements.
  • Experience in managing project delivery, including project scope, time, and budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in economic development policy, financial modeling, infrastructure development, agreement drafting/redlining, and presentation development.
  • Experience in power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, and electrical and cooling technology.
  • Ability to provide commercial and technical solutions.
