Job Title

Senior Physiotherapist Job Description:

  • Conduct functional assessments to determine required therapy interventions.
  • Select appropriate and specific outcome measures to enable evaluation of therapy progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to formulate client-centered SMART goals.
  • Document and communicate assessment results, therapy plans, goals, and outcome measures to relevant stakeholders.
  • Modify therapy plans based on client performance, motivation, safety, and therapy outcome measures collected and reviewed continuity of care plans.
  • Recommend assistive devices and equipment for clients.
  • Select outcome measures to evaluate therapy progress and outcomes.
  • Empower clients and caregivers with methods to enhance health, mobility, and functions through self-management strategies.
  • Perform clinical administration and operations by developing clinical practice guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education, training, and research activities to advance physiotherapy practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision and team development for support staff and students.

Clinical Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee delivery of consistent and excellent clinical quality to residents and sponsors.
  • Responsible for the clinical quality of all residents guided by set key performance indicators.
  • Co-lead quality improvement projects in the center(s).
  • Perform peer audits on compliance to clinical standards.
  • Respond to clinical incidents in compliance with organization's incident management guidelines.
  • Monitor team's clinical and non-clinical key performance indicators.
  • Deliver training or in-service to colleagues.

Feedback Management:

  • Assist in investigations related to complaints received.
  • Escalate unfavorable and unresolved feedback to Manager, Rehab.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Possess a recognized qualification in Physiotherapy and be fully registered with AHPC, Singapore.
  • Have at least 2 years of working experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various people and cultures.
  • Self-motivated to stay updated with advances in physiotherapy.
  • Interest in neuro and geriatrics rehabilitation preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across Singapore.
