Palliative Care Professional

The Palliative Care Professional coordinates and implements care plans for patients with life-limiting illnesses. This role requires a strong nursing foundation, enabling the professional to act as both a specialist and generalist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide holistic care, including pain and symptom management, to patients and their families in their home environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless medical and nursing care.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • State Registered Nurse with a valid Practising Certificate from the relevant authority and at least 3 years of working experience.
  • Experience in Oncology or Palliative Care is advantageous.
  • Nurses with paediatric experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with patients of different races.
