Credit Risk Manager
Description:
Our organization is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Manager to oversee credit risk across global trading operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of counterparties, providing desk coverage for regional traders, and leading internal initiatives to enhance our credit risk processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve and/or recommend internal credit limits
• Manage a portfolio of counterparties, continuously monitoring for adverse developments and new items
• Evaluate specific large, complex or long-dated trades and structured deals
• Develop relationships with counterparties and deep industry expertise of the sectors covered
• Provide desk coverage to regional traders, ensuring alignment of risk policies with trading strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years' credit analysis experience in a commodities trader or financial institution, strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment capabilities. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous as the role may require engagement with the Chinese market.
