Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the execution team responsible for agricultural commodity shipments. Our client is a global merchant with an extensive network of 50 countries, trading and processing over 30 commodities.

The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end contract execution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while minimizing operational and financial risk. They will be responsible for developing and leading a team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost control.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Maintain robust knowledge of international trade frameworks, including Incoterms and shipping documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of experience in commodity operations, particularly in agriculture commodities.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing an execution team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive experience in GAFTA contract management is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience in commodity trading systems desirable.
