Senior Network Architect

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Architect to design and implement our Data Centre environment within a highly regulated banking environment.

  • Design, deploy and manage Cisco ACI and EVPN environments for optimal network performance.
  • Lead level 3 network support with 24x7 escalation capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, runbooks and change records for efficient troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with vendors (Cisco TAC, Service Providers) for escalations and advanced network troubleshooting.
  • Prepare audit reports and participate in risk assessments for network security compliance.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal and external teams to ensure project deliverables meet timelines.
Requirements
  • Over 8+ years of experience in supporting complex banking IT environments or equivalent, including 5+ years of experience in network implementation with a focus on Cisco ACI, especially in Multi-Site, Multi-Pod setups.
  • Proficiency in Cisco and Arista products, particularly DCI technology FabricPath, OTV, VXLAN, VPC+, MLAG.
  • Strong understanding of routing protocols such as PBR, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and EVPN.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Proficiency in Python and Linux shell scripting is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as CCIE or equivalent level in networking is an advantage.
