We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Expertise and Advisory Consultant to join our team at KPMG in Singapore. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
As a Finance Expertise and Advisory Consultant, you will work closely with our top-tier clients in the private and public sectors, providing them with expert advice on financial and accounting matters. You will be responsible for managing client opportunities, delivering live engagements, and providing input into larger multi-disciplinary teams across the Firm.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting senior management in providing technical solutions to clients through in-depth understanding of accounting standards requirements and practical applications
- Researching relevant technical and industry developments, participating in and facilitating internal and external trainings
- Assisting with the implementation of new financial reporting systems, processes, and policies for our clients, as well as designing and implementing sound governance and controls
- Supporting the delivery of complex projects with strong project management skills, developing client deliverables, reports, and/or presentations, and liaising with clients and external advisors
- Performing data analysis to understand data quality and to inform and support robust decision-making for our clients and promoting effective decision-making using financial and visualization tools
We are looking for an individual with:
- A minimum of three years of experience with a public accounting firm, advisory services firm, or a large multinational organization in leading finance change or corporate accounting, or system reporting
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; licensed CPA or CPA equivalent
- A strong knowledge and practical application of one or more of the following: GAAP, IFRS, business combinations, share options, or financial restatements
- Experience and strong interest in technologies for finance and accounting
- The ability to lead and work with diversified teams
- Strong analytical, communication skills, and experience in project management
- The willingness to take on a role with 20%-40% travel
- Applicants with experience in insurance will be a plus
We offer a competitive salary of SGD 80,000 - 120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
