Early Childhood Educator Job

The role of an Early Childhood Educator is vital in the care and development of infants and toddlers. Reporting to senior educators, this individual implements a program that aligns with the centre's goals and curriculum plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a program that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of infants and toddlers.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic environment that promotes a sense of security and comfort for children and parents alike.
  • Nurture positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Monitor and document child progress, including completing progress reports and preparing developmental portfolios.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and involvement in the centre's activities.
Requirements:
  • Hold certifications in Early Childhood Care & Education (DPT/CPT/HCIC/CIT/ACEY).
  • Possess Fundamentals or Certificate in Preschool teaching.
  • First Aid Certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in toddler care is an advantage.
  • Be passionate about nurturing infants and toddlers.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
