Infant Care Teacher Job Opportunity

">About the Role:

This position is for an Infant Care Teacher who will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • They will also have a keen focus on maintaining a secure and hygienic environment, as well as a genuine love and patience towards infant-toddlers.
Key Responsibilities:

The Infant Care Teacher will be responsible for the following key areas:

  1. Care & Nurturing:
    • Develop strong relationships with infants and toddlers
    • Provide individualized care and attention to each child's needs
  2. Curriculum Delivery:
    • Plan and execute lesson activities that promote learning and development
    • Assess and report on child's progress and development
  3. Administration:
    • Prepare lesson materials and resources
    • Track developmental checklist reports and maintain accurate records
  4. Team Work:
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  5. Build Home-School Partnership:
    • Maintain consistent communication with parents and caregivers
    • Address parent concerns and provide support as needed

Requirements:

  • HCIC and/or ACEY qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualification:

  • Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Higher Secondary or Pre-U/A Level/College education with relevant experience
