Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic vision for the preschool, aligning with the centre's goals and objectives.

Foster a culture of excellence in early childhood education, ensuring that all staff are aligned with the centre's mission and values.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear goals and objectives, and ensure that all staff are working towards achieving them.

Participate in networking and collaboration with other centre schools to enhance the centre's performance and reputation.

Work closely with the Admin & Accounts Team to optimize the centre's operations, including finance, human resources, and cluster financial resources.

Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend professional development opportunities for staff, with a focus on career growth and development.

Enhance the centre's image through its quality educational programs, organizational excellence, and the professionalism of its teaching staff.

Supervise centre teachers and provide guidance to ensure the delivery of a meaningful, engaging, and child-centred curriculum, aligned with the ECDA ECE Framework.

Ensure that the learning environment is conducive and safe, allowing children to explore, experiment, and acquire knowledge and skills.

Monitor children's achievement and development, using data-based trends to assess curriculum areas for improvement and growth.

Lead, guide, and inspire staff to contribute their creativity, expertise, and skills towards delivering a curriculum that meets children's needs.

Oversee day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, orientation, performance appraisal, learning needs analysis, and exit interviews, for Senior Teachers, Teachers, and Admin & Accounts staff.

Create a safe learning environment and provide the best possible care to children under their charge.

Perform projects allocated by the Management.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 GCE 'O' Level credits with grade B4 in EL1 and

Diploma in Pre-school Education – Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and

Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and/or

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood

Min. 2 years experience in a preschool setting
