Job Overview

The Psychosocial Program Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents by coordinating and implementing programs and activities that promote social engagement, support, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and coordinate psychosocial programs and social activities that address the needs of residents and foster social connections.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify community needs and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Work with external partners and stakeholders to implement joint programs and activities that enhance resident support.
Program Evaluation:
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of psychosocial programs through data collection, resident feedback, and outcome evaluations.
  • Prepare and present reports on program performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize evaluation findings to inform future program development and enhance service delivery.
Social Activities:
  • Organize and facilitate social events that promote engagement, social skills development, and emotional well-being among residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in social activities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.
Collaboration and Networking:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations and healthcare providers to support residents' psychosocial needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
  • Advocate for residents' needs within the community and assist them in accessing resources and services.
Qualifications:
  • Min. Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field (desired).
  • Relevant experience in program coordination, psychosocial support, or community engagement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.
