Vessel Operations Manager

The role of the Vessel Operations Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing technical maintenance, budget control, planning, and safety for a fleet of vessels.

Key duties include developing and implementing vessel maintenance plans, ensuring vessels comply with statutory regulations for safety, organizing and monitoring activities related to class and flag state requirements, and monitoring vessel performance with timely remedial actions when required.

  • Develop and implement effective vessel maintenance strategies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage resources and budgets efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar position
  • COO Class 1 Certification
