**Job Title:** Senior Governance Specialist - Asia

We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a Governance Hub for the Asia/Pacific region, including the development of structures, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across the Asia/Pacific region.
  • Support the development of a Compliance Hub for the Asia/Pacific region and integrate both hubs into a comprehensive Governance Hub.
  • Serve as the primary contact for governance-related matters in the Asia/Pacific region.
  • Develop annual audit plans, including budgets for the Governance department.
  • Implement the annual audit plan, focusing on projects related to Internal Auditing/Risk Management in the Asia/Pacific region.
  • Enhance digitalization topics in Internal Auditing and Risk Management across EMEA/ America/Asia/Pacific.
  • Support the Compliance function in performing compliance-related activities in the Asia/Pacific region.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in business administration or related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and risk awareness.
