Custody Operations Manager Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in our fast-paced custody operations team. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure seamless operational processes.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to process tasks efficiently as an individual contributor or assist the team in reviewing daily custody operations. This includes:

  • Reviewing and processing trades, corporate actions, static updates, and MIS reporting for the custody business
  • Liaising with the head office custody team and operations teams from various branches regarding custody business
  • Providing management support to drive process enhancement and improvements, participating in UAT testing
  • Handling issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders regarding custody operational enquiries
  • Promoting the development of custody business by working closely with the front office team
  • Completing all other tasks assigned by the management team and ensuring deliverables are executed as per requirements

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree with more than 5 years of working experience, with a preference given to candidates with more than 3 years of experience in securities and fund operations. Excellent market research and report writing skills are required
  • Knowledge of Depository Agent duties is an added advantage
  • High adaptability, ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment, and efficient team management skills are essential
  • People-oriented with good interpersonal skills, able to manage diverse team members
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese to provide efficient service to Chinese background customers. Ability to write in business Chinese is mandatory
