Job Responsibilities
As a Residential Care Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing Resident Welfare: Manage the daily lives of residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Supporting Emergency Situations: Assist in emergency situations, such as crises or incidents requiring immediate attention.
- Delivering Trauma-Informed Practices: Implement trauma-informed practices in daily interactions with residents, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintaining Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of premises, including conducting body and property checks, night patrols, and dormitory checks.
- Caregiving and Support: Provide care and support for the daily living needs of residents, including assisting with tasks and activities.
- Developing Positive Relationships: Foster positive relationships with residents, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- O Level and Above: Hold a minimum qualification of O Level or equivalent.
- Rotating Shifts: Be able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- MS Office Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications.
