As a cinema associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining a positive atmosphere for patrons.

Your role will involve selling tickets and concessions, greeting customers, maintaining the cinema's cleanliness, and assisting customers with special needs.

  • Sales: Sell tickets and concessions to customers, including popcorn and drinks.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and provide information about movies, showtimes, and other cinema services.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the cinema, including the lobby, restrooms, and theatre.
  • Assistance: Assist customers with special needs, such as wheelchair access or hearing-impaired devices.
  • Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
  • Projection Duties: Perform basic projection duties, such as starting and stopping the film and adjusting the volume.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle cash transactions, including counting and reconciling cash at the end of your shift.

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of movie technology and projection systems is necessary.
