Job Summary:

A seasoned laboratory professional is sought to lead the daily operations of a QC laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical testing and laboratory management, with experience in overseeing a team of laboratory technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Coordinate tasks, prioritize workloads, and ensure testing schedules and targets are met.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct troubleshooting, lead investigations into quality issues and non-conformances, and monitor in-process samples.
  • Training and Development: Train, coach, and monitor the performance of laboratory staff.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all laboratory operating standards and procedures, and prepare quality reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Chemical or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in Laboratory Testing, specifically Wet Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in a Supervisory or Team lead capacity.
  • Strong practical knowledge of lab equipment: GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR.
