Job Title: Programmes Director

The role of Programme Manager is crucial in leading a team of social service professionals to deliver exceptional support to children and youth from vulnerable backgrounds.

This position requires a seasoned leader who will provide strategic direction for the programme, ensuring alignment with the organisation's mission and priorities.

  • Provide strategic direction for the programme, ensuring objectives are aligned with organisational mission and strategic priorities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team in casework management and delivering holistic mentoring and educational intervention plans.
  • Perform casework management for complex issues and conduct home visits with the team, as needed.
  • Ensure service standards are maintained through programme supervision, strong operational framework and monitoring of programme outputs and outcomes.
  • Develop and build stakeholder relationships in the throughcare sector to deepen our outreach work.
  • Spearhead and develop new partnerships to support service delivery for the programme, including engagement with volunteers, corporate partners, donors and community partners.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work (or other relevant degrees) with a proven track record and experience in the social service sector.

  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in social work, with at least 5 years in supervisory/management capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet programme needs.
  • A good team player, able to work independently with good problem-solving skills, and an ability to multi-task across a variety of tasks, projects and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing social work practice.
