Job Description

As a Senior Retail Leader, you will be responsible for driving store success and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership skills will inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of service quality.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure smooth store operations. You will also be responsible for managing staff, merchandise, and space to maximize sales floor efficiency.

  • Drive store sales growth through effective leadership and team management.
  • Ensure daily briefing to staff on sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and visual merchandising.
  • Manage complaints cases in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide training and coaching to develop team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the setting, monitoring, and achieving of targets and objectives for the store.
  • Be proactive in developing business opportunities and contributing to store growth.
  • Manage staff, merchandise, and space to ensure maximum sales floor efficiency.
  • Review store transactions daily to detect and prevent any irregular or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for roster planning to ensure sufficient manpower at all times.
  • Set priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines and develop plans to meet short-term objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with the Visual team and/or oversee physical site maintenance.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 5 years of working experience in sales and distribution of branded merchandise in a retail environment, leading a large team, and preferably in Sports and/or lifestyle chain stores. They should possess strong leadership and communication skills, be results-orientated with a strong understanding of day-to-day in-store operations, and be energetic and self-motivated individuals highly preferred. A degree or diploma in Business Management or equivalent is essential.
