Job Opportunity: Senior M&E Manager

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior M&E Manager to lead and manage all mechanical and electrical engineering activities in construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, scheduling, coordination, and integration of M&E systems installation and commissioning.
  • Supervise M&E subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality work, safety standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor the progress of M&E works and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with other building components.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors on M&E related matters, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations throughout the M&E installation and commissioning process.
  • Prepare and submit M&E documentation, reports, and progress updates as required by the project schedule.

Requirements:

  • Possess degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the construction industry, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.
  • Solid technical knowledge of M&E services.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Able to work on multiple projects, within simultaneous timelines.
