Lift and Escalator Specialist

Responsibilities:
You will be required to review design and conformance to safety standards of lift and escalators.
You will carry out in-depth study, testing, verification, and failure analysis on electronic hardware and software programs in relation to lifts and escalators.
Additionally, you will conduct field inspections and investigations of incidents and provide technical support to your team.
Qualifications:
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering from a recognized university is required. Registration as a professional mechanical or electrical engineer with the Professional Engineers Board is an advantage. Experience in the design and/or maintenance of lifts and/or escalators or in a related field such as lifting equipment is essential. Good oral communication and report writing skills are also necessary.
