Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift and Escalator Inspector to join our team. As a Lift and Escalator Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of lifts and escalators to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of lifts and escalators, including annual no-load and 5-yearly load testing, in accordance with regulations.
  • Perform site audits to ensure proper installation, operation, and maintenance, meeting required safety and performance standards.
  • Carry out inspections based on established procedures and ensure accurate documentation of inspection results.

Requirements:

  • Registered with IES/ACES and holds valid LEI Accreditation.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant working experience in lifts and escalators, including at least 3 years for degree holders or 6 years for diploma holders.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: testing and commissioning of new lift installations, maintenance services, design and planning of lifts.
  • Strong understanding of risk-based assessment and safety regulations.
  • Physically and mentally fit for high-risk site inspections.
