Production Planning Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closely coordinate with customer service, production, R&D, warehouse, and plating subcontractor teams to achieve production goals.
- Optimize machine and manpower utilization by planning and scheduling production, plating subcontractor, and internal plating department activities.
- Prepare weekly open orders report for operation meetings.
- Issue work orders, monitor status, and coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery.
- Promptly issue raw materials and coordinate with purchasing for new requirements based on received orders.
- Maintain agreed safety stocks.
- Ensure all work orders are complete before closing and provide reports on outstanding work orders.
Requirements:
- O Level or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge in SAP system.
- Ability to adjust work hours occasionally to accommodate urgent tasks or deadlines.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking colleagues.
