Job Title: Resident Technical Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tunnel Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale tunnel projects.

  • Supervise contractors' work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Identify potential stress signals and implement remedial measures promptly.
  • Prepare and submit daily shift reports.
  • Attend and document all inspections and testing as requested by the contractor and authorized by the RE.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in supervising tunnel construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safety of workers on site.
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of work.
  • Coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Managing and maintaining site records and documentation.
  • Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A diploma in Civil or Structural engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar rail/road projects.
  • Relevant experience in bored tunnel supervision is preferred.
  • Registration with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) as a qualified site supervisor is required.
  • Possession of RTO Tunnel certification is mandatory.
