Research Specialist Associate Role
">The Singapore Population Health Studies is a large-scale population-based health research project.
">We are seeking an individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is service-oriented with good time management skills.
">Main Responsibilities:">- Obtain consent from research participants and perform health assessments including anthropometry, blood pressure measurement, and ECG.">
- Perform bone densitometry and whole body composition scans on 20 participants per health screening session.">
- Review images and perform data entry accurately noting any observation of anomalies.">
- Analyse images and upload to the research database.">
- Perform regular quality control and calibration procedures and maintenance of equipment.">
- Update the inventory of consumables.">
- Ensure the safety and protect the privacy of research participants by adhering to best practices. Reporting of incidents, complaints, or adverse events.">
Requirements: Diploma in life or health sciences with a minimum of 2 years of work experience or a degree in life or health sciences.
">Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (7:45am-6:15pm), alternate Saturdays (7:45am-3:30pm).
">What We Are Looking For:">We want someone who prefers an academic research setting over a clinical one, enjoys working in a team that manages different assessment modalities, and has a keen interest in helping to build a national biobank for research.
