Job Summary:

The Post Fixture Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chartering activities. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and provide information required by Owners and Charterers in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate information received from Owners and send date required by Charterers, presenting it in a concise and easily understandable format.
  • Comprehend legal and documentary requirements to ensure the safe and timely completion of the Charter Party, proposing alternative work methods when necessary.
  • Have a full understanding of Charter Parties in use for fixtures with our customers and make Charterers aware of any clauses that may impact their current operations.
  • Enter freight data into the database and prepare commission invoices for our services, ensuring freight is paid as per the Charter Part stipulates.
  • Provide demurrage summaries of shipments when required, including recommendations for laytime remaining for unfinished shipments.
  • Key in pertinent data into our database for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting, assisting in presentations to Charterers on the performance of their COA (Contract of Affreightment) when needed.
  • Participate in updating and maintaining the database of information in SharePoint.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and SharePoint.
