Physiotherapist Opportunity in a Nursing Home Setting

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a physiotherapist in a nursing home setting, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to residents and clients.


The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing effective therapy to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of our residents. This includes:

  • Undertaking thorough assessments to identify residents' physical and functional limitations
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address residents' needs and goals
  • Providing individualized therapy sessions to promote resident independence and well-being

In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with colleagues and families, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support high-quality care.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a physiotherapist with the relevant professional governing body
  • Postgraduate degree in physiotherapy or a related field
  • Experience working in a nursing home or similar setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
