BIM Coordinator Drafter

About the Job:

This role involves drafting and documenting construction projects, creating 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of BIM tools and construction workflows, with a focus on precision, collaboration, and transforming designs into reality.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drafting & Documentation
  • Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for construction, fabrication, and coordination.
  • Maintain and update as-built drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all outputs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
BIM Coordination
  • Develop and manage BIM models across architectural, structural, and M&E disciplines.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to integrate multi-disciplinary models.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools.
  • Support digital workflows including 4D/5D BIM, if required.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate BIM meetings and present clash reports.
  • Align models/drawings with construction sequencing and real-time site conditions.
Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain an accurate and organized drawing/model library.
  • Enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific standards.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • BIM Certification (a must).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in AutoCAD drafting & Autodesk Revit modeling.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
