Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team as a Ceiling Fan Specialist. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of ceiling fans in residential and commercial settings.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assessing sites where ceiling fans are to be installed to determine the most suitable location
  • Evaluating the structural integrity of ceilings to ensure they can support the weight of the fan
  • Installing and assembling ceiling fans, wiring them to the electrical system, and mounting them securely to the ceiling
  • Testing ceiling fans to guarantee they function properly and meet safety standards
  • Clean up sites after installation, removing debris and packaging materials
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on fan usage and maintenance
  • Performing electrical services, including pulling wires and installing power switches
  • Conducting false ceiling works with customisation options
  • Offering exceptional customer service and handling client complaints

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical installations, preferably with ceiling fans
  • Class 3 or Class D driving license and ability to operate a 10-foot lorry/van
  • Basic command of English, spoken and written
  • Handyman experience is an advantage
