Key Responsibilities:

  • Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize algorithms for sensor fusion, perception, and spatial intelligence, tailoring solutions for specific applications in robotics and healthcare.
  • Prototype Implementation: Lead the implementation of prototypes using advanced sensor technologies, ensuring effective integration with robotic systems for real-world applications.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data and develop models to validate theoretical approaches, utilizing machine learning techniques to derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaborative Projects: Engage in collaborative research with interdisciplinary teams, contributing expertise in bio-inspired systems and robotics to advance cutting-edge solutions.
  • Publications and Presentations: Produce high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals and present research findings at international conferences to enhance the visibility of the research team and institution.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate students and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
Requirements:
  • PhD in AI, electrical engineering, computer science, automation and robotics engineering, mathematics/physics, computational neuroscience/biology or related field.
  • Strong research experience or research publication records in AI-related fields top-tier conference and journals.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and robotics.
  • Excellent project management and leading skills.
  • Good communication, mutual respect/care, and team-leading spirit are required.
  • Respect of multi-cultural research environment.
