Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, with expertise in managing and maintaining Linux-based servers in production environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting Linux-based systems, including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu. They will also perform OS patching, kernel updates, and third-party application updates, as well as manage daily health checks for system performance, services, and backup statuses.

The role requires strong knowledge of Linux distributions, with experience in tools such as yum, dnf, apt, and automation via Ansible/YUM repos. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with NetBackup administration, including job monitoring, agent installation, and recovery operations.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar job scope
  • Experience with patching tools (e.g., yum, dnf, apt, or automation via Ansible/YUM repos)
  • NetBackup administration – job monitoring, agent installation, and recovery operations
