Job Title: Linux System Administrator

Job Description:

  • Plan, execute, monitor and control the various technical aspects of projects.
  • Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
  • Support operational systems to satisfy contractual Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and operational activities.
  • Provide project documentation and reports.
  • Diagnose and rectify technical issues.
  • Manage and operate Red Hat Linux, Windows VM Infrastructure.
  • Installation/Configuration/Hardening/Maintenance/Patching.
  • Maintain System Security.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting.
  • Performance Tuning.
  • Capacity Management.
  • Preventive/Proactive Support.
  • Incident/Change/Problem Management.
  • Provide system administration support and guidance for development teams' application configuration tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience supporting various infrastructure agents like NetBackup (Mid-Level) vSphere 7.x.
  • Cross-team collaboration with storage, network, security, and application delivery.
  • Technical leadership quality to handle technical challenges and sensitive situations.
  • Integrate server automation processes either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions (Ansible).
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience in Red Hat Linux (On Cloud) preferred.
  • Candidates with some work experience and possess exposures/knowledge in Red Hat Linux (On Cloud) are welcome too.
  • Candidates with experience in MS Windows Server administration.
