Job Overview

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a General Ledger Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our general ledger, as well as performing various accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
  • Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies in the general ledger.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
