Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maritime Operations Coordinator. This role will involve providing administrative support to our technical teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining accurate records of vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation and management of technical documentation, reports, and records related to vessel operations.
  • Support the Technical Manager in monitoring vessel maintenance, dry-docking, and repair schedules.
  • Assist in the procurement of spare parts, equipment, and consumables for vessels in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely updates of maintenance logs, safety reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, shipyards, and service providers to facilitate technical support and procurement.
  • Maintain a database of spare parts and inventory for efficient stock management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the maritime, shipping, or offshore industry.
  • Familiarity with vessel operations, maintenance schedules, and classification society requirements.
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
