Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist pharmacists in processing medication orders for inpatient dispensing. This involves typing, picking, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies to wards and other hospital departments. The successful candidate will also ensure accurate record keeping of prescriptions, provide quality customer service and receive, unpack and check stocks against appropriate documents.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting pharmacists in processing medication orders
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping of prescriptions
  • Providing quality customer service
  • Receiving, unpacking and checking stocks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have at least a GCE O level or Nitec qualification. Part-time Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences by RP and OJT training to be Pharm Tech will be provided. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
