Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and patching.

  • Support day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist in after-hours support activities, such as maintenance and upgrades, when required.
  • Provide first-level and second-level support for system-related issues, including Windows, Active Directory, backup, and storage.
  • Perform routine systems administration tasks, such as system checks, log reviews, and patch deployments.
  • Assist in managing Active Directory, Windows servers, and virtualized environments.
  • Work with senior engineers or vendors to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Help prepare basic reports and documentation for internal teams or clients.
  • Stay updated with system updates and security advisories.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure/system support experience.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Virtualization technologies.
  • Exposure to backup systems and storage is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes, such as incident/change/asset management, is an advantage.
  • Microsoft and/or ITIL certifications preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
