About the Role

As a Riding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality horse riding lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to competitive riders.

Your primary focus will be on teaching horse riding skills in a safe and enjoyable manner, with a strong emphasis on progressing qualifications through the BHS course program.

You will also be required to actively encourage students to become more involved in the riding section, including Pony Club, additional lessons, leases, and competing at shows.

The ideal candidate will possess a British Horse Society's Assistant Instructor (BHS AI) Certificate or equivalent qualification, as well as good interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality customer care.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to participate in clinics to develop your riding and teaching skills, and report any issues regarding horse behavior or welfare.

Other key responsibilities include attending weekly department meetings, submitting weekly reports, ordering feed and bedding requirements, and training and supporting grooms in their jobs.

A valid driving license is not required but advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates who can start immediately.
