We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Administration Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for receiving referral forms from referring institutions and verifying their completeness.
You will register patient admissions, prepare and request additional information as necessary, and update outcomes of referrals once approved or rejected by doctor-in-charge.
Liaising with referring institutions on patient condition and readiness for transfer is also a crucial aspect of this role. You will accompany patients and next of kin to ward on the day of admission and verify documentation.
Additionally, you will check for completeness and correct filing of documents in patient files before sending them to the Medical Records Office for archiving upon discharge.
In this administrative support role, you will also assist with sorting out brochures for the Administration Office, issuing receipts for walk-in cash or cheque donations, collecting and keeping records of complimentary car park coupons, and assisting in loaning and receiving donated equipment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare team.
