We are seeking an experienced Energy Manager to play a key role in our energy management team. As a certified professional, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing energy conservation measures, optimizing HVAC systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate energy data collection and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • HVAC Optimization & Engineering Analysis
    • Analyze and redesign HVAC configurations to reduce energy consumption while maintaining operational effectiveness.
    • Conduct thorough engineering analysis to optimize HVAC system performance.
    • Ensure that solutions comply with local codes and sustainability standards.
  • Energy Audits & ECM Development
    • Conduct comprehensive on-site energy audits across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
    • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) with financial and environmental justifications.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Data Integration & Analytics
    • Collaborate with the Data Science team to automate energy data collection and real-time monitoring.
    • Support the development and deployment of fault detection and diagnostics tools for HVAC and building systems.
    • Analyze trends and anomalies to drive predictive maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management
    • Manage the full lifecycle of energy projects from concept development to commissioning and measurement and verification.
    • Prepare technical documentation including BOQs, specifications, and schematic drawings.
    • Coordinate on-site activities with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance
    • Foster relationships with clients, facility managers, and internal leadership to align energy goals with broader sustainability objectives.
    • Evaluate compliance with relevant energy efficiency regulations and building codes.
    • Support green building certification processes such as LEED or BREEAM.

Qualifications

  • A Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential from AEE is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in energy management, HVAC optimization, or building systems engineering is necessary.
  • Strong command of HVAC system design tools and data analysis platforms is essential.
