About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Vessel Manager, ensuring timely completion of necessary surveys/services, and maintaining ship certificates on the electronic drive.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Vessel Manager in preparing and reviewing annual reports.
  • Compile specifications and obtain quotations for dry docking in Bassnet.
  • Coordinate the compilation of docking reports, utilizing information provided by the Vessel Manager.
  • Liaise with the Purchasing Department to facilitate efficient communication and resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation control, including receipt, dispatch, and distribution of documents and invoices.

You will also provide remote support to the Vessel Manager as required, assist with Management Reports, and manage the filing of certificates, weekly and monthly documentation from vessels/other parties, transitioning to electronic filing on the T-Drive.

Requirements
  • Monitor the team's out-of-office schedule and arrange travel plans accordingly.
  • Keep the Marine Superintendent informed of Class survey status as needed.
  • Provide administrative assistance to fleet personnel as necessary.
