Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising

We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Assistant Manager in Visual Merchandising within a prestigious global beauty organization. This position will focus on shaping the retail presentation of our brand throughout the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of expertise in Design or Retail Visual Merchandising, capable of leading effective visual merchandising initiatives tailored for diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in crafting merchandising standards for the Asia Pacific territories.
  • Oversee comprehensive visual merchandising projects with external partners, ensuring flawless execution and timely completion.
  • Serve as the brand ambassador, offering visual merchandising best practices and support to various markets.
  • Strategically allocate in-store materials to align with brand objectives and business goals.
  • Manage the visual merchandising database, ensuring precise information for each retail outlet.
  • Provide insights for new and existing store planning and merchandising to enhance customer experiences.
  • Create and modify regionally relevant visual merchandising materials.
  • Implement innovative solutions for regional programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Global Merchandising Department and visual merchandising teams across different markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, or a related discipline is preferred. Specialized training in design with an emphasis on 3D is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Interior or Retail Visual Merchandising.
  • Skilled in producing detailed construction drawings to scale.
  • Proficient in design software such as Macintosh Vectorworks, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and various 3D applications.
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary retail store design and visual merchandising principles.
  • Proven track record in developing graphic layouts and interior signage.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for the retail sector, particularly in Cosmetics and Fragrance.
